Rick Juarez is a Managing Director for NCPI Investment Banking. He focuses on providing advisory services for technology, software, and telecommunications companies. Mr. Juarez has more than 20 years of combined banking, strategy, and operational experience. He has participated in over 55 capital raising and advisory transactions for growth companies in the technology, software, and telecommunication sectors.
Mr. Juarez was previously a Managing Partner at AlphaCap, a merchant banking and advisory firm. Prior to AlphaCap, Mr. Juarez was a Managing Director at Robertson Stephens and Fleet BancBostson. At Robertson Stephens, he built the infrastructure software and services practice which grew to over $175 million in revenue. Before joining Robertson Stephens, Mr. Juarez was a founding member and Senior Managing Director in Deloitte Consulting's eCommerce and Telecommunication Consulting practice. Prior to Deloitte Consulting, he was the Manager of Banking and Capital Markets for Pacific Telesis Group (Now part of AT&T). Mr. Juarez has also served on the boards of several private companies, e.g. ConXion, and has authored numerous industry defining reports, e.g. Cap Ax's, Virtual Bricks, etc.
Mr. Juarez has an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Gene Ramirez is a Managing Director at NCPI, bringing a strong combination of investment banking, operational, and strategic expertise to the firm, having advised a broad spectrum of emerging growth companies over the last 15 years. Before joining NCPI, Mr. Ramirez held various management positions at Robertson Stephens & Co. in San Francisco, CA, and Southwest Securities in Dallas, TX. In addition, he has founded two enterprise software companies based in Austin, TX of which one was sold to Oracle in 2002. Mr. Ramirez has advised technology clients on approximately 40 public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions representing over $2.5 billion in transaction value. Mr. Ramirez has a deep background in the technology industry, primarily focused on emerging growth, middle-market companies.
Mr. Ramirez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a specialization in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
