Mr. Crum is Branch Manager for NCPI's Silicon Valley Office. He has been an Investment and Portfolio Manager since 1999 and currently manages more than $40 million for clients employing value and high income proprietary styles. Prior to joining Nollenberger in 2005, Mr. Crum spent five years as a Vice President and Investment Portfolio Manager for the Menlo Park Office of Smith Barney. In 2004, Mr. Crum contributed to Forbes magazine freelance writer Caroline Waxler's Stocking Up on Sin (Wiley & Sons publisher), a detailed analysis of undervalued tobacco, alcohol, and gaming stocks which was named by Barron's magazine as one of the top ten best business books of 2004. From 1993-1999 he was a Supply and Contracting Officer in the United States Navy, including 3 years as Finance and Contracting Department Head for the U.S. Naval Base in Yokosuka, Japan, where he attained the final rank of Lieutenant Commander.

Mr. Crum currently serves on the board of the San Jose Rotary's Downtown Development Committee, and The Gift of Life Committee which recruits cardio-thoracic surgeons to provide life saving heart surgeries to indigent patients at no cost. He is also serving as the Chairman of the University of Pennsylvania's regional area Secondary Schools Committee, which interviews all Bay Area applicants to the University on behalf of the admissions office.

Mr. Crum graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and has held the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation since 2003. He is a member of the Security Analysts of San Francisco, and the CFA Institute.
